A Midsummer Nights Dream

Illyria Open Air Theatre performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at Sherborne Castle on Sunday 2nd August. Tickets cost £11.50 in advance or £12.50 on the gate. I've spoken to the booking office and at the moment there are plenty of tickets. She said people usually wait until nearer the date and then if the weather looks good, there can be a bit of a rush. Once tickets are bought, they're not refundable as performances go ahead virtually whatever the weather except, perhaps a hurricane! Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start. Looks like you can bring a picnic etc (not sure about seating yet, but will find out). I'd probably buy tickets about five days beforehand if the weather looked okay and I'd prefer to have money up front. Anyone who wanted to leave it til the night could get tickets on the gate and we could meet there.
